Welcome to Newcastle Gosforth Round Table website.

You’re probably wondering what Round Table is all about, what it does and who can join.

Before I joined I assumed it was a closed secretive organisation which you had to be invited to join and I imagine that most people think the same, but this couldn’t be further from the truth.

It’s a group of men from various different backgrounds who work together to raise money for charity. Our diverse backgrounds mean we all bring something of value to the table, from initial ideas to leading the organisation of an event. All the proceeds from each of our events are subsequently donated to good causes within the local community and used to provide community events such as fun days in the park.

We operate in a very relaxed and informal manner and would encourage anyone who’d like to help the community to get involved. For a lot of members the chance to give something back to the community is a very rewarding experience.  There’s room for everyone, diversity is a strength in Table.

We’re always looking for new members as we acknowledge that our strength comes down to the diversity of our membership and the fresh ideas we all bring. We welcome everyone albeit you do have to be male and between 18 and 45.  One of our particular strengths is mixture of people we have in Newcastle Gosforth Table, strong friendships are formed and people are encouraged to develop both ideas and on a personal level.

The first step is the biggest one but you’ll not regret it. Contact us if you’d like to check out what we do. You could attend a meeting, join us for a social night or help out at an event – I could even talk you through it over the phone. If you have an idea for a fundraising event then great, if not don’t worry, everyone at some point has an idea worthy of exploring and that is what makes Table so unique and worthwhile.

We look forward to meeting you soon.
